Bulgarian Military University Conducts Training Exercise
June 19, 2019 – The Aviation Faculty of the Bulgarian Military University conducted a tactical exercise using the FLAMES Runtime Suite to simulate the defense of a nuclear station. They prepared five different training scenarios with intruders at various heights, making changes to altitude, speed, and position of the units to test the scenario under multiple conditions. Pilot, ATC, and engineering cadets and lecturers in ATC, Tactics, Flight Dynamics, Communications, and Electronics participated in the exercise. The Bulgarian Military University is a participant in Ternion’s FLAMES University/Education License™ (FUEL) program and regularly uses FLAMES in training exercises for their students.
